Our Vision Behind The Indiana Black Legislative Caucus Education Foundation

The Indiana Black Legislative Caucus Education Foundation (IBLCEF) is a nonprofit organization committed to advancing equity, opportunity, and leadership within Indiana’s Black and minority communities. Founded in 2018, the Foundation was created to address the growing need for educational and charitable programming in underserved areas across the state. Through a focus on youth empowerment, civic engagement, public education, and inclusive dialogue, IBLCEF works to uplift communities, inform policy, and inspire lasting change. Guided by a vision of equity and unity, the Foundation serves as a catalyst for progress and a champion for Indiana’s future leaders.

These sessions will be nonpartisan and open to the general public, with the goal of increasing knowledge and encouraging informed civic participation. The Foundation also aims to promote higher levels of educational achievement among underrepresented students by providing resources and guidance on the college admissions process.
